Mike Swanson has over 30 years of experience working in the Aerospace Industry.  He spent most of his career leading advanced, rapid development programs for the legendary Lockheed Martin Skunk Works.  Mike has been involved in all phases of program development starting with initial program capture, conceptual design through detail design, manufacturing, final assembly, system checkout, and flight testing.    He has supported and/or led the development of several rapid development programs including the JASSM cruise missile, P-791 Hybrid Airship, X-44A and Polecat reconnaissance UAVs, X-55A Advanced Composite Cargo Aircraft, HAWC and AGM-183 ARRW hypersonic missile programs, and several other advanced development projects.   He has also conducted many academic and industry speaking engagements on the topics of innovation and rapid development/prototyping methods.  Mike is a recognized leader in the field having received four Lockheed Martin AeroStar Awards, a corporate Nova Award, and two Distinguished Project Awards from the San Fernando Valley Engineers' Council.
